reporting to us that there was a search warrant at the time as the body was taken from the house and the house was sealed up with tape as a crime scene. now, as robert explained, that makes the house not being allowed to be entered in the meantime because they are trying to preserve the evidence of the crime scene. today, the fbi brought by their emergency -- their -- some special evidence recovery team and they were doing a walk- through, apparently that was the reason to open the house and to go inside the house. it is a huge question in everybody's mind: was this body there ever since the first body was recovered? did the body come after that? if it was there when the other body was recovered, that of mr. ricardo sales, why didn't anyone see it before now? so i'm sure that question is going to be addressed at sometime later. police aren't speaking specifically toish that u this evening. >> don, they mentioned a landfill. they have been looking for six days in the landfill for frederick sales. i don't know if they had a tip about it. but they have been looking for him. it's ju

the dmv. law enforcement tells cbs 5, the pair used addresses in the application process that put their legal residences inside the fire zone. >> it was to obtain identification that was not their identification and it was in an effort to get identification for somebody else who did live within the site. our belief was it was in an effort to be able to then go and make an application to get some of the funds that are being provided to victims of the event. >> reporter: five felony charges have been filed. they are commercial burglary, perjury, felony filing of a false document, identity theft, and welfare fraud. when smith and justin applied for the licenses, they caught the eye of dmv investigators, who then alerted san bruno police. at a press conference today, county law enforcement agencies were clear about what would happen to anyone trying to run a scam in the fire zone. >> we view them as vermin. and we are going to prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law, meaning we're going to charge them with everything we can charge them with. we are not going to plea bargain wi

looking for a man believed to be the fifth victim. ken makovec shows us it is a painstaking process. >> reporter: it is day four of the search through the keller canyon landfill here in pittsburgh. authorities are searching for any sign of the whereabouts of 35-year-old frederick sales. they process they are using is first going through with an excavator to loosen up some of the compacted trash and then two dozen volunteers go through that trash by hand. here is a picture of the man they are looking for, frederick sales who father was found beaten to death. they believe it was volunteer demar oh who killed him. he has been charged with the killing of three other people including his ex-girlfriend and two women in their 60s, one of whom he lived with on and off. he was shot and killed by officers last week. they are searching this dump because a car val die more oh often drove was found near some dumpsters and their contents were dumped at this landfill. again, this was day four of the search, authorities believed they will have one or two more days worth of garbage to sift through.

. the officer's attorney said, the officer was essentially invited to use scare straight tactics and there were no objections to the lecture or handcuffing. everything was done in the spirit of reaching a troubled young man headed down the wrong path. but if that'swhy did the boy's mother file a case with internal affairs? >> the fact that the mother went so, to them as a result of this indicates that this was not consensual. in other words, the parents didn't want their son handcuffed that this police officer stepped way over the line between being an upset parent and abusing his authorities. >> reporter: sex between minors even consensual sex is a misdemeanor. and the san jose police department cited both children in this case for that misdemeanor. dana, this is a case that we are going to be hearing a lot more of especially with that cell phone video that allegedly shows some of the comments made by the officer while he was doing this lecture with the boy. >> all right. len ramirez, thank you. >>> this story generating a lot of conversation. comments are piling up on our website. you can che
